almonds and oats have a great nutritional profile, especially compared to refined white flour which doesn't give you much other
than energy.
Because those are more absorbent
than almond flour, I added 2 eggs to the wet

If you are buying de-fatted
almond flour or coconut flour, you are purchasing a very different
ingredient than I use in my recipes.
I do, however, love coconut and

I am very mindful that

I had all the
ingredients except for the cherries so I used dried cherries and added a big handful of flaked
almonds - it all tasted much better and much lighter
than I expected.
