In this study, we (1) developed
the initial item pool based on a focus group, broad literature review and existing scales; (2) examined the psychometric properties of the scales in a pilot study among 538 middle school students; (3) examined the psychometric properties of the scales according to classical and modern test theories among a large sample of adolescents.
