city Los Angeles is pretty beat, with street kids running drugs and packing heat, white
cops busting their chops for no good reason, and smug crack dealers pontificating about how they're the real businessmen of the «hood.
The show, created by David Simon, was set in Baltimore and examined every facet of the
city's war on drugs, from
inner city dealers and the
cops on their tail to politicians and members of the press.
