There's carbonfibre too, notably for the bonnet, the front wings,
the inner wheelarches, the aerodynamic addenda (no less discreet than they need to be) and, most obviously, the roof.
Nissan has addressed criticism that the original Nismo lacked compliance and refinement by revising the rear spring and damper rates and introducing new
inner wheelarch liners and carpets to absorb road noise.
Not exact matches
The
wheelarch liners should be removed, and the
inner wing cleaned, to prevent trapped water from causing corrosion.
A small removable piece is said to be missing from the wing, and there is a crack on the
inner part of the front
wheelarch extension where it meets the fender liner.
Don't be surprised to find rust, particularly around the sills and rear
wheelarches, but do check that it's only superficial — the
inner sills are a potential problem.
