Melt 1 tablespoon of the butter and brush it over the tops and
insides of the squash halves (alternatively, you can rub it on evenly with your fingers).
Spray or brush
the inside of the squash with olive oil and sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper.
Use a serrated grapefruit spoon to get all the seeds and stringy fibers out of
the inside of the squash.

Then when that's done, you layer
it inside of the squash along with the artichoke hearts, top it with a little cheese, place it under the broiler for a few minutes until it's nice and golden, and it's ready to eat!
I've found rubbing
the inside of the squash w / a little olive oil and seasoning it w / a little salt and pepper then roasting it in the oven makes for an absolutely PERFECT squash every time.
Roast the tomatillo mixture and the squash at 425F for 30 - 40 minutes, until the tomatillos and
the insides of the squash are completely soft.
Remove from oven and scoop out
the inside of the squash.
Scoop out the seeds from
the inside of your squash halves.
Brush

I rubbed
the inside of the squash halves with olive oil after I cleaned out the pulp.
Then I sprinkled chopped garlic and a little tummeric to
the inside of the squash.
Gently scrape a fork along
the inside of the squash halves to remove the meat — it'll easily come away in spaghetti strands.
This recipe really only takes 40 minuets, as you can cook everything for
the inside of the squash while the squash is baking.
Place acorn squash halves on foil and drizzle olive oil and salt and pepper
the inside of the squash.

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Brush the tops and
the insides of the squash and pumpkin with 2 tsp.
