I think you should paint your fireplace like
the inspiration pic in a bright white - I love the pop against the dark wall.
I would do a dark grout to tie in your countertops, I used charcoal and it looks like
the inspiration pic did too!
I found
the inspiration pic and really like mixing iron with all the wood you have.
The finish on
the inspiration pic looks kind of like «pickling» technique.
First of all, your second
inspiration pic is my most inspiring kitchen inspiration pick of all time, and I, too, had decided to do slate blue on the bottom and white on the top.
Your pic sealed the deal of decision for me and became
my inspiration pic.
Also, that first
inspiration pic made me sigh.
Last but not least, here's
a inspiration pic that shows the cabs outfitted with antique brass hardware and wall sconces...
So, I was * thisclose * to breaking out a pencil and recreating that look, but Kevin decided he reeeeeally wanted to do board & batten - like the walls in
the inspiration pic I shared the other day:
Love the before and after
inspiration pic.
My inspiration pic for my son's bathroom originally had a blue cabinet like this.
And...
my inspiration pic is the EXACT same PB pic you used here, and I first painted the wall Sea Salt, and then Sea Salt cut to 50 % and have settled on Rainwashed at 50 %.
I'll have to check Pinterest to see if I can find
an inspiration pic.
PS - We tried out the rug I used in
my inspiration pic, but it didn't look quite right and it felt like a trip hazard, so we nixed that idea and we're just going to go rug-less!
You realize, don't you, that what makes your first
inspiration pic from BHG absolutely perfect is the orange kitty cuddled on the banquette cushion?
It's just as gorgeous if not more so than
the inspiration pic.
The horse actually just came along with
the inspiration pic of the vent hood, but I do love it!
I think I recall
an inspiration pic, of something similar.
See
the inspiration pic above!
I think it would make a lovely companion to the ming green marble tiles and dusty white quartz countertop I suggested in
my inspiration pic:
Love that island in
the inspiration pic.
Looked at every project at Wettling Architects» site to see if I could find

inspiration pic...
We've been renovating our laundry room and found
an inspiration pic that had marble countertops but there was no way I was spending that kind of money when my kitchen counters are still formica!
First, let's revisit
the inspiration pic I put together in Photoshop a while back: Remember that?
Here's
an inspiration pic I found on Pinterest today... when I was done with your drawings (love it when that happens!)
The only changes between yesterday's
inspiration pic and today's: white - painted cabinets above our existing ones, and a «Southern Living» - style vent hood over the range.
I actually saw a placemat that looked almost identical to the ditto DIY
inspiration pic, but I didn't think it would make a good memo board since you wouldn't be able to read the words as well.
Also, I love the warmth logs would bring on either side (like
your inspiration pic shows) when you get to that point.
You are close to
the inspiration pic, but more brick needs to show through.
The color and
your inspiration pic from Young House Love reminded me a little of the bold palette we're going for too.
It's
the inspiration pic I'm using now as we re-do our master.
That is a great
inspiration pic... you could just photoshop yourself right into it!

inspiration pic.

the inspiration pic too.
Too funny... great

It might not work due to the arrangement of our kitchen, but I always love
this inspiration pic (below) so we aren't ruling out the option of removing all or part of the wall.
Hi Layla - Love what you did to the ceiling but what really caught my eye was the entertainment wall in
your inspiration pic.
And, interestingly, that
inspiration pic is just like my wall, angled exactly the same way!
I have to say the ceiling looked fabulous when you showed
the inspiration pic.
The problem is I didn't order enough fabric (viscose print from here) and so the bodice was not relaxed like
my inspiration pic below, it was short and uncomfortable lengthwise.
Dang girl, that
inspiration pic is EVERYTHING.
Love the summer vibes and the dots in
the inspiration pic!
I read blog posts and tutorials, pin
