coffee lover like you, you could increase the amount of
instant espresso in the
recipe or use a 1/2 teaspoon of
coffee extract to bump up the flavor!!

instant coffee, which worked fine.

recipe exactly, except for on small detail: I used a Keurig K - Cup instead of
instant coffee in the frosting.
Also instead of using

recipe called for, I used the Starbucks Via Italian Roast
instant coffee packets.
I had been using super finely ground
coffee beans in my brownies in lieu of
instant espresso powder but making this
recipe I finally see that it is not the same thing, presumably because the
instant powder dissolves.

I add about a teaspoon of

My only changes — a little more applesauce (to make up for the annoying 1.75 cups of pumpkin in a can) and added a little

recipe to make.
I've used
instant coffee / espresso in cake
recipes dry (unconstituted), and yes, the liquid binds them with the other ingredients.
Since I loved the
recipe, I also made a chocolate variant of it, where I just added 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder and an eighth of a tablespoon of
instant coffee powder.
This
recipe calls for either
instant espresso or
coffee granules in both the cupcakes and the espresso syrup that goes on top.
Though the
recipe says adding a tablespoon of
instant coffee is optional, don't skip it: The granules make the chocolate more intense without leaving a
coffee taste.
1 T (FOR CAKE) or 1/2 T (FOR CREME) BREWED ESPRESSO MAY BE SUBSTITUTED FOR WATER AND
INSTANT COFFEE IN THIS
RECIPE.
This
coffee recipe is so easy — plus you can make a double batch to have plenty on hand for an
