in InstantPot, I cooked it up on the «soup» setting (30 min high pressure) and it came out great.
Instead, I added about 4.5 cups of water and cooked them in my new
InstantPot for 40 minutes of pressurized cooking and let the pressure naturally release for 25 minutes.

If I'm making a batch to freeze for later, do I add all ingredients to
the instantpot EXCEPT the water?

the instantpot — I used the slow cooker function but cooked on high for 3 hours.
So is it ok to sabstitue simple non paleo ingredients and still come up with a tasty recipe in
the InstantPot for this?

I used vegetable broth I had made in
my InstantPot and then frozen.
I subbed buttermilk powder for the milk powder and proofed in
my InstantPot.
The InstantPot recipes are super helpful — I love my IP and use it as much as possible.
- To steam, place the beets in
your InstantPot whole with 1 cup of water.
You no longer need an oven to bake a cake; you just need
your InstantPot.
You can make this in
an Instantpot on the stew setting, but don't add the extra water, unless you want to cook down for an hour after it is finished.
It would be nice to include traditional cooking directions as well for those of us who haven't won
the instantpot yet.

Can you do this with
an instantpot?
In fact, just about everything I make in
my InstantPot, following recipes, turns out as soup.
Get the bones from a chicken and add to
the InstantPot with 2 - 3 carrots, 2 celery stalks, one large onion quartered with skin on, 2 garlic cloves smashed with skin on, a couple of bay leaves and 1 tsp.
Now I use
the InstantPot and make the same rich broth in 3 hours.
I use
my instantpot too - just keep a bag in the freezer for bones and veggie scraps, then add some good marrow bones, garlic, ginger and a sheet of nori seaweed.
My instantpot has made it even easier to keep up on bone broth, using pressure mode.
I've done mine in the oven and in
the InstantPot and I'm not sure which method I prefer.
The nifty part was that we had plenty of leftover chicken, so my husband suggested using the broth that was still in
the InstantPot for the start of a soup.
You can also put grass - fed beef bones in
your InstantPot, fill with water to the fill line, add salt and seasonings, and make bone broth that way.
I love using
my Instantpot and have not tried making any type of squash in it.
For me it's adequate storage for all my large counter top appliances like my VitaMix,
InstantPot, and griddle.
