Hi Sandra, quick question, can you use guar gum
instead of agar - agar because it's so expensive and I noticed with soba noodles all the ones I found have a little sugar in them, would it set me back if i ate some that contained less than 1 gram?
I have Xanthum Gum powder kicking about in the cupboard, can it be used
instead of Agar Agar powder?
If you use gelatin
instead of agar agar flakes, do you have to change the recipe instructions at all?
Have you tried this with konjac powder / glucomannan
instead of agar flakes?

Agar is a seaweed based thickener, the healthiest plant - based option,
instead of using gelatin or starches.
Using coconut milk from a carton
instead of a can I overcame solidification issues * and set the mixture with
agar agar, a plant - based gelatine substitute available in most supermarkets.
This recipe uses
agar agar instead of gelatin.

Instead of gelatin powder, you can use or 1 1/2 envelope gelatin powder or 3 tbsp
agar flakes or 1 1/2 tsp
