Benteke's movement and
intelligence as a striker is very, very under - rated in my books, so I feel he would fit our style.

we again need about three world class players and in my opinion that includes a genuine Iron man DM with
intelligence as well
as muscle, a genuine world class 30 goal a season
striker, the likes of which will turn a game around when its looking bad, and with the fall of Santi Cazorla looking ever more imminant we also now need a genuine creative midfielder (why did nt Wenger get Cesc when he was an option?)
Because of his skills,
intelligence and pace... I will take him
as our first
striker all day long.
The opposing defence and goal keeper never look at him
as a threat due to his poor
striker instinct,
intelligence etc...
Before the winter break he was deployed out wide
as an inside forward, where he used his decent pace and
intelligence well to support the main
striker, but since the season resumed in March he was played centrally and scored an incredible 14 goals in 11 appearances.
Bergkamp was never a particularly prolific
striker, but his
intelligence and technical ability was second to none in the Premier League and he will forever be regarded
as one of the greatest foreign players to grace the English game.
