The
goal, unveiled on Tuesday as part of the governor's 2018 State of the State agenda, is
intended to result in enough
emission - free renewable energy to power 400,000 residences.
Put another way, the policies
intended to prevent carbon
emissions and reduce fuel poverty were in contradiction, and one enjoyed greater emphasis than the other — completely contrary to the claim that the two
goals are equivalent, as FoE and co had claimed.
