They don't know how to be enough for the pursuing partner, so they just withdraw to protect themselves from
the intense feelings of inadequacy they're faced with every time they can't give their «pursuing» partner what they need.
Some
of the symptoms
of PPD include loss
of appetite, insomnia,
intense anger or irritability, overwhelming fatigue,
feelings of guilt, shame, or
inadequacy, mood swings, difficulty bonding with your baby, withdrawl from family and friends, and thoughts
of harming yourself or your baby.
