interesting when it focused on the home lives of Aibilene (Viola Davis, Doubt,
in a performance sure to be
in the mix come Oscar season) and Minnie (Octavia Spencer, Peep World,
in a breakout role).
I guess the kinds of people who loved this
movie are captivated by suspense and
good graphics, both of which this
movie had, but neither of which is enough to make me
interested in a
movie.
Franco also directed the film, imbuing his docu - dramedy with an
interesting bit of irony by directing himself

good movie where he plays the real life director (at least according to the credits) of a famously bad
movie.
While Lurie (The Contender, The Last Castle) is hardly a director who'd ever be accused of being over stylish,
