Unfortunately, as is the case with most shooters that don't somehow guide players into different game modes, it seems like the Twisted Metal community is clustering around the less
interesting deathmatch games, which will leave the team based games to languish and wither.
Not exact matches
Dull maps aside the
game does at least offer a fair modes to pick from, ranging from the standard
Deathmatch options to objective based modes to keep things
interesting.
It didn't have bloody killing sprees or AK - 47's, or team
deathmatches and everyone went bonkers... if you can't kill in a
game then the
gamer is not
interested it would seem!
Game modes are broken down as well, and as of the time of launch a decent amount of both normal and hardcore gametypes exist, which is fantastic news for those actually
interested in playing more than just regular team
deathmatch.
The PvP
game is limited entirely to
Deathmatch affairs, though it's obvious Ubisoft is fixated on the creativity of the community to build up
interest in the multiplayer itself.
