an interesting little discussion of rules and standards in the development of the Eighth Amendment jurisprudence.
There is
an interesting little discussion happening over on the law blog of Frédéric Rolin about what exactly the proper French equivalent of «law blog» should be.
Not exact matches
Quite frankly, I'm not
interested in any «intelligent discourse which is
little more than a circle jerk of a
discussion where privileged people sit around and abstractly theorize about what the «real problems» of and «solutions to» marginalized people's problems that doesn't center the words and experiences of actual marginalized people and their own understanding of their own problems.
So I'm actually glad we veered a
little off topic in our
discussion following the last entry because I've been wanting to write about parenting and children for a while, but figured there would be
little interest in the subject.
The work of Catherine of Siena contains

While the screening met in Zurich initially with

I want to talk a
little about an Amazon service called Kindle Unlimited, because it's complicated and
interesting, and is increasingly the primary
discussion subject among authors (of the indie variety) and not for a lot of really good reasons.
Interesting too that the bookstore is seeing opportunities upstream from book - selling, driving its own revenues, something there has been too
little discussion of in recent years among bookstores.
And personally, I've seen

little more closely to the things they're probably missing!

This is a unique venue — we have
little interest in hosting repetitive identikit
discussions of the sort playing out recently.

The topics of

little one - way lecturing — ranged from how early career lawyers feel about the profession (and how we are in some ways letting them down) to the future of articling (a particularly hot topic in Ontario, as we all know) to how we might infuse a culture of entrepreneurship in how lawyers are trained (including some of the
interesting experiments that are taking place at Ryerson) to the more fundamental challenges of incorporating experiential learning into the law school curriculum.
You could soften either of these statements with a preface statement, such as «I'm very
interested in this position and I'm a
little concerned that a
discussion of salary at this point could screen me out or box me in...»
Foreign investors are thought to be the key to keeping much afloat in Canada, but many not benefiting from equity already gained are starting to feel enraged at the lack of will to stop so much foreign investment and immigration where enclaves of sorts are developing instead of more living in a truly multicultural way as was intended (as a Fraser Institute article stated and with articles after stating they are misguided); plus, many are becoming citizens with
little real
interest in Canada aside from the passport and money, so many
discussions are occurring on the coast, at least, on dual citizenship and its impact.
