So I'm actually glad we veered a little off topic in our
discussion following the last entry because I've been wanting to write about parenting and children
for a while, but figured there would be little
interest in the
subject.
For example, one of the charges against Honest to God, almost as soon as it appeared, was that John Robinson had said nothing in that book about «future life» — although the critic must have forgotten that not many years before the bishop had written, while still a theological teacher, a treatise entitled In the End God which is a considered and very
interesting and suggestive
discussion of exactly that
subject as well as of the related aspects of «the last things».
I genuinely was
interested in this
subject because of late it has somewhat been playing on my mind and so sought to discover the truth on the matter and so sought out
discussions and literature by christian writers that I might examine their different stances on the issue and try to find a moral cross-section as I think is appropriate
for all questions since the ranging views are like politics ranging from far left wing to far right wing views.
Those in attendance remarked on how fruitful it was to meet others who are
interested in similar overarching questions but who had been researching different angles of neoliberal legality independently, as there previously had not been a forum
for such lateral, cross-sectional, and interdisciplinary
discussion on this
subject.
Part three, «The Quest

interesting but often speculative
subjects, and ends with
discussions on topics such as everlasting life, bubble universes and the meaning of it all.

interesting and substantive, so I'm inclined to let it go on
