The aim of the current study was to test the usability of the Hungarian version and to analyze the factor structure and
internal reliability of the inventory.
The results showed a good temporal stability for Problem Solving, General Functioning, Communication, and Affective Responsiveness scales, and a
good internal reliability of the scale.
The psychometric properties of the revised scale appear adequate as demonstrated by good
internal reliability coefficients, high test - retest reliability, and effective discriminatory power.
The data were aggregated into subscales, and
internal reliability measures, descriptive statistics, and two - step hierarchical regressions on each subscale were calculated.
The
reported internal reliability pattern is very similar across the studies, Hyperactivity - Inattention subscale has the strongest reliability and Peer Problems subscale has the weakest.
These rates demonstrated
acceptable internal reliability for both youths and parents because each of the eight items consistently contributed to the total BGMC questionnaire score.
Based on principal components analysis, the standardized measures were averaged into a single composite score (M = 0, SD = 1), comprising multiple ages and informants, with strong
internal reliability α = 0.86.
The DPICS - R has demonstrated good
internal reliability between CII and behavior codes, as well as concurrent validity with external criteria in previous IY studies.21
Child eating behaviours were measured using items from the food responsiveness and food fussiness subscales of the Child Eating Behaviour Questionnaire (CEBQ), which has been shown to have good validity and internal reliability [31, 32].
The RHI's components generally demonstrated good
overall internal reliability, and the factor analyses confirmed the subscale structure: engagement, authenticity, empowerment, and conflict / difference.
We
examined internal reliability with α and ω coefficients and convergent and discriminant validity by using average variance explained (AVE) scores.
All subscales showed
high internal reliability, ranging from.83 — .94 for age 2,.85 — .95 for age 3,.86 — .95 for age 4, and.87 — .96 for age 5 (Table 2).
In the present study, Cronbach's α of the NEO-PI-R scales ranged from.71 to.87, indicating that these five personality dimensions exhibited
adequate internal reliability.
Scores had
excellent internal reliability (Cronbach alpha for the father - child relationship was 0.90, and for the mother - child relationship was 0.84).
All scales demonstrate
satisfactory internal reliability and agreement between scores for adolescents (n = 91) from the normative sample who completed the AAQ twice.
While the external reliability remains high,
the internal reliability is lower than what is claimed in the original 2015 paper.
The exception was the scale used to measure growth mindset, which had
an internal reliability coefficient of 0.7, somewhat below the commonly used benchmark for acceptable reliability of 0.8.
The report detailing the psychometric properties of the SCS - R states that
the internal reliability alpha is 0.92 which reflects an excellent level of reliability.
The Howard Street (Morris 2005) assessment procedures were administered to all three participants because the test reported high reliability and validity (predictive validity of.70 and
an internal reliability of.85)(Morris, Tyner, & Perney, 2000).
Internal Reliability: The 33 - item APT scale had excellent internal reliability, Cronbach's α =.92 (N = 84 participants).
