Previously, at the Newhouse Center for Contemporary Art at Snug Harbor, she managed a contemporary exhibition program in a 15,000 - square - foot historic space as well as international residencies, public programming, and a studio program for visual artists.

Prior to joining LMCC, Takeda led national grantmaking programs at Arts International, providing support for US visual and performing artists working internationally.

The result of a collaboration with an international group of artists, it will include a cooking show by Will Benedict, a nature show by Korakrit Arunanondchai, a video by Mckenzie Wark, a visual essay by Aria Dean, a talk show by Hannah Black, a docu - short on «seasteading» in Tahiti by Daniel Keller, a report on «reparation hardware» by Ilana Harris Babou, a cartoon by Amalia Ulman, a docu - short on «economic utopias» by Christopher Kulendran Thomas, a Nollywood fictional drama exploring the influence of technology and digital culture in South Africa by the artist collective CUSS Group, and a contribution by the Women's History Museum.

It's focus is to provide visibility to young art, particularly for lesser known visual artists to showcase their work to an international audience which includes artists, galleries, museums, curators and others interested in art.

The show brings together works by South African and international artists to discover the ways in which visual culture is harvested, consumed and given new form.

The work of Bart Vargas at Dayton Visual Arts Center By Jud Yalkut Bart Vargas is a Minneapolis - based artist who has shown internationally, most recently at the 2010 Fourth Beijing International Art Biennale (BIAB) in China.

Founded in March 2006, Wade Wilson Art Houston continues to bring a fresh voice to the Houston visual arts community by presenting artists whose work reflects current movements in international art circles.

Established through a bequest by Australian expatriate artist John Power (1881 - 1943), who left his personal fortune to the University of Sydney to inform and educate Australians about international contemporary visual art, the MCA is dedicated to exhibiting, collecting and interpreting contemporary art.
