In discussing Iraq,
terrorism and
international conflicts, Elshtain invokes the «just
war» tradition, formulated by Augustine, which speaks of «just cause» (jus ad bellum) for
war and insists
on the «just means» (jus in bello) of fighting
war.
The group in its first quarter report released in Abuja
on the ongoing
war against insurgency in Nigeria noted that after undertaking review of the ongoing
war on terrorism by the Nigerian military, it observed that UNICEF and other
international organizations have been frustrating the efforts of the army through series of blackmails.

The consequences of his choice won't be clear for decades, but it already is abundantly apparent in mid-2006 that the U.S. government went to
war in Iraq with scant solid
international support and
on the basis of incorrect information — about weapons of mass destruction and a supposed nexus between Saddam Hussein and al Qaeda's
terrorism — and then occupied the country negligently.
For purposes of the means test, the U.S. Bankruptcy Code defines current monthly income as including: «any amount paid by any entity other than the debtor (or in a joint case the debtor and the debtor's spouse),
on a regular basis for the household expenses of the debtor or the debtor's dependents (and in a joint case the debtor's spouse if not otherwise a dependent)...» Benefits received under the Social Security Act, payments to victims of
war crimes or crimes against humanity
on account of their status as victims of such crimes, and payments to victims of
international terrorism or domestic
terrorism on account of their status as victims of such
terrorism are excluded from the means test.
