What started with Capcom's Monster Hunter has spawned
into Namco Bandai's God Eater, Tecmo Koei's
Dynasty Warriors: Strike, and even Square Enix with their just announced game: Lord of Arcana.
However, as it tends to happen, the brand was starting to grow stale with its button mashing gameplay supplemented by a capture and siege based mission design which is why Koei Tecmo decided to take it off
into a brand new direction by introducing the concept of an open world

You can then, at a button press, move
into a direct control mode and run around like in Spartan: Total
Warrior or
Dynasty Warriors, in a mass killing spree.
As long as everyone knows what they're getting
into though I would definitely recommend this game to fans of the
Dynasty Warriors franchise regardless of their familiarity with Zelda.
Nuances like being able to play the ocarina during loading screens, the soundtrack that takes a familiar catalog and gives it a little of the rock and roll flavor that one usually hears in a
Dynasty Warriors title, or the fact that you can find yourself up against an army of cuccos if you hit one in a mission all help blend the two series together
into its own new thing.
The title is a collab between the big N and Koei - Tecmo, the creators of the
Dynasty Warriors series, that brings the lore and characters of the Legend of Zelda series
into the hack - and - slash world of Musou arcade action.
On the one hand this is the joy of a
Dynasty Warriors game — entering a trance - like state where simple button mashing is transformed from clumsy nonsense
into beautifully coordinated, deadly gymnastics.

into those type games and well Koei Tecmo had me hooked on

I've always liked the
Dynasty Warriors games, but have never really gotten
into them enough to pick one up for myself.
Combat broadly remains as gratifying and borderline repetitive as it has ever been in
Dynasty Warriors, with players that delve
into the game's combo mechanics able to employ wide - reaching attacks that will allow you to take out ranks upon ranks of enemies.
However, despite my lingering reservations heading

Warriors «Musou» franchises have taken a back seat in the wake of spin - off entries
into the series that feature other popular franchises such as Zelda, Mobile Suit Gundam, Fist of the North Star, One Piece, The Heroic Legend of Arslan, and, most recently, Berserk with Berserk and the Band of the Hawk.
The characters break off
into three different groups, causing three different storylines (seems like a

Even a simple cursory glance reveals that Omega Force put considerable effort
into making the newest
Dynasty Warriors the most unique one to date.
