was hard, because I
am a teacher during the school year, my husband works
at night and then during the summers he goes on the day shift so I kind If turn
into a
stay at home mom, so there I
was 7 months pregnant with two boys that wouldn't sleep
at all.
Falling prey to peer pressure isn't a good enough reason to become a
stay -
at -
home mom and neither
is giving
into the mommy wars hype.
Even though there
are more ways to
be a married couple than ever before, including blended families and families in which the dad
stays at home and
mom's the breadwinner, we still tend to fall
into gendered expectations when we heard the word «wife» — she
's responsible for the
home and kids, even if she works outside the
home full time — and «husband» — isn't he the provider?
I began to find myself drawn
into the attachment line of thinking once I knew I
was going to
be able to
be a
stay at home mom.
After doing a couple of searches it became clear that since retreating
into the vacuum of
being a
stay at home mom, nothing new had
been written on cloth diapering.
My husband and I looked
into the costs of day care when we found out I
was pregnant to make a decision then if I would
be a
stay at home mom or go back to work.
Oh my gosh, I can't believe that such a great article has
been turned
into fuel for a debate of who
's more exhausted - working or
stay at home moms!
The past 2 months have
