The Northern Australian Water Futures Assessment of which the Department is a joint delivery partner, has a strong Culture and Social program which aims to identify the key
cultural and social
assets across northern Australia and gain an understanding of their watering needs to enable future development proposals to take these needs
into account in the context of a changing climate.
