Hell will use your save data from the prime Saints Row IV game to put your own unique boss player character
into the cutscenes, so if you played the base game on, say, a PS3 and plan to play the new release on a PS4, you'll miss out on that sweet continuity.

cutscene, Dick tells us that his two colleagues on this trip have saved his life more times than he can count, we should have known things would turn out bad when they both die from a grenade after having a lingering final look

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate puts on the training wheels just long enough to make you feel comfortable with what you're doing, and then tosses you out
into the wild to hunt giant, memorable monsters with little to no forced story interactions,
cutscenes, or lengthy bits of dialogue.
The game features a story that is mildly entertaining but the most impressive part of it is the amount of work put
into the cinematic

into the scene and lock horns with the active character.

The story informs the gameplay well enough without locking players

While I enjoyed the presentation and the way the developers integrated
cutscenes into gameplay, which is all seamless, I also hated how some of the battles against goons felt repetitive.
There's a
cutscene, late in Metal Gear Solid V, that's ostensibly serious but contains a musical interlude so awkward it sent me
into giggle fits.
It's hard to imagine a less exciting Lara Croft movie than what directors Simon West and Jan De Bont cooked up at the turn of the century, but «Tomb Raider» 2018 comes worryingly close — especially in its third act — distilling a routinely rousing video game franchise

As long as you know what you're getting
into: old - school gameplay, LOTS of
cutscenes, and a plot that's very good but more linear than it could have been, its minor flaws shouldn't keep you from having a good time and seeing one hell of a story unfold.
