Her creative practice and community advocacy work often dovetail

into an understanding of the relation between
art and the

In my opening comments at the meeting, I stressed the need to expand the discussion from the physical and
environmental sciences
into disciplines ranging from sociology to history, philosophy to the
arts.
Blending his long time experience in design / construction,
art, and sustainable building research

environmental design website Inhabitat, eVolo Magazine and many other publications.

environmental event with workshops,

When sustainable architecture coalesces

art, it will likely be more in keeping with a world teetering on the brink of economic and
environmental collapse than with the architectural modes that preceded it.
