Bread pudding is one of my favorites and this recipe is quite similar to my own «method» (meaning that I do not use a real recipe but incorporate what is on hand with the basic ingredients) My very, very best version uses leftover,
homemade biscuits that have been split,
buttered and toasted... add some dried peaches cut
into small pieces, the plumped cranberries, toasted
nuts and usually a chopped apple.
You can smother this delicious
homemade nut butter on toast, a banana, or spoon it
into some oatmeal (or your mouth..).
With the smooth turn of a dial, transform roasted
nuts into homemade butter and whole grains
into gluten - free flours.
Then you can easily make them
into your own
homemade nut butter.
You can also fold a little turmeric
into nut butter or hummus, whisk it
into homemade vinaigrette, or stir it
into oatmeal along with coconut milk, maple syrup, cinnamon, and
nuts or sesame seeds.
