Here's the drill, during the
holidays we tend to eat a
little too much when our eyes are bigger than our stomaches and then when it's time for dessert you don't know how you can possibly fit more food
into your tummy..
It has walnuts, apples, and a
little lemon for tartness in addition to savory roasted sprouts and would fit
into any Christmas or
holiday menu.
I (Sofia) didn't get a chance to participate since my hands are tied with the
little one, but I did ask the ladies at BAKED to share their best

This week, coming off the Thanksgiving
holiday and launching
into full - troddle
holiday madness has me a
little wide - eyed, so I've taken to the meatball, making wonderfully flavorful balls in a very simple broth with rice.
They're not traditionally iced, but it's fun to cut them
into gingerbread or other festive
holiday shapes and give them a
little color.
There is so much that has been going on in my world, with publishing a book, going on
holiday to America (which was awesome) and then throw
into the mix, moving house, that's why I have been a
little quiet online of late.
The older I get, the less I am «

holiday dish has to be my mother's dressing... homemade buttermilk biscuits and homemade cornbread mixed with the perfect amount of onion, celery, and seasoning, and drenched in just a
little broth before going
into the oven alongside the turkey.
The whole family will have a ball transforming sugar cookie dough
into charming Christmas characters with our
holiday cookie templates, a rainbow of royal icing colors, and a
little imagination.
And while the cranberry and balsamic glaze is optional, it elevates this simple dish just a
little, turning it
into one that can easily be made for weekend or
holiday entertaining; from what I hear, it's not too early to start thinking about that sort of thing.
One of mine that my mother has instilled
into me since I was
little is
holiday baking!
It wouldn't be a
holiday without an incredible, edible penguin, and when I see these
little guys waddling across a platter I turn
