Strain, discard spices and fruit, or core and blend pears
into pear sauce (use as you would apple sauce).
And if you are wondering what I do with all the leftover stewed pears, I blend
them into a pear sauce and spoon it onto all kinds of dishes.

Once tender take immersion blender and blend
pears until they puree
into a
sauce; stir in cinnamon and sugar and let boil, stir puree every 5 minutes until the moisture is out of the
pear butter (about 30 minutes).
