plans come with
unlimited domestic talk and text (available even if you haven't paid for up to 60 days),
unlimited music streaming with select music partners, call waiting, voicemail, 3 - way calling, as well as the ability to turn your phone
into a mobile Wi - Fi hotspot (draws from your applicable
data allotment).
T - Mobile briefly included HD streaming and 10 GB of LTE hotspot
data as part of the standard T - Mobile One
plan, when it was trying to steal some of thunder away from Verizon's entry
into the
unlimited data market, but that promotion's over.
For carriers, too many subscribers with
unlimited data plans can eat
into their profits.
In recent months, Verizon chopped its
unlimited data plan into two tiers, one that costs $ 75 / month and one that costs $ 85 / month.
If you consistently use more than 10 GB of
data, and are grandfathered
into Verizon's
unlimited plans, you should stay.
We're heading
into an age of
unlimited data, and while most of the major carriers have adopted an
unlimited plan of some kind, mobile virtual network operators, or carriers that use other carriers» networks, haven't really embraced the concept just yet.
