The primary teeth don't start to shed until about 5 to 7 years of age, so make sure
you introduce good oral hygiene habits from a young age, and remember, babies and children learn more by example than words.
Once other foods (including formula) are
introduced into the baby's diet, the risk of dental caries is the same as that of all children eating adult food and
good oral hygiene and dental visits are important to avoid cavities.
