Adjustment of the two - factor model of the Symptom Checklist (SCL) across different levels of measurement
invariance between mothers and fathers.
The results for the first model, which assumed configural
invariance between mothers and fathers, globally showed good adjustment of the model (Table 1).
We used exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis with multi-group comparisons to establish the structure of the HADS and test for factorial
invariance between samples.
Confirmatory factor analyses were employed to test measurement
invariance between these two populations, Cronbach's alphas were calculated to determine the reliabilities of the scales, and partial eta - square tests calculated the effect size of the differences between socially anxious and healthy adolescents and between the adolescent boys and girls.
Future research needs to conduct confirmatory factor analysis to assess the psychometric
invariance between online and paper - based administration of these screening tools in the CF population, including the settings in which they are administered.

This period is called the Charge Conjugation - Parity - Time (CPT)
invariance, which establishes the fact that if you interchange particles for anti-particles (C), look in a three dimensional mirror (P) and reverse time (T), you can not tell the difference
between the them.
Measurement
invariance of the scales
between genders was evaluated using the DIF test.
According to Damasio & Koller (2015)
invariance suggests a significant quality indicator for the MLQ, enabling valid group comparisons
between genders, free from response bias.
In addition,
invariance analysis shows no statistical differences in factor structure
between males and females.
We tested the
invariance of the factor structure, factor loadings, and path coefficients
between Black (n = 648) and White (n = 882) girls using a standard procedure (Motl et al., 2002).
Most importantly, it was demonstrated that the SCARED could differentiate
between socially anxious and healthy Spanish adolescents as demonstrated by measurement
invariance (χ 2 = 254.27, df = 1343, GFI =.884, AGFI =.872, RMR =.031) and the large effect size (η p 2 =.22)
between the samples.
Measurement
invariance (MI)
between mothers and fathers was also tested.
