We reasoned that insufficiently engaging stimuli would be likely to evoke mind wandering, which would likely
involve idiosyncratic thoughts unrelated to the experiment, and thus would introduce unwanted noise into estimates of inter-subject correlations and their relationships to
social distance.
Following a discussion of the challenges of providing clinical experiences, the authors describe the outcomes of a study
involving remote partnerships in learning between candidates enrolled in a

social studies methods course and mentor teachers employed in middle and secondary schools.
