So I got
out my trusty Lodge cast
iron pan and went to work.
They are so good when they come
out hot sizzling in a cast
iron pan.
1) Pre-heat oven to 350 deg Fahrenheit (175 deg Cel) and line a metal baking
pan or cast -
iron pan 2) Blend the cashew nuts in a food processor or a blender until it becomes like fine sand (if necessary, pass the blended cashews through a sieve — and re-process the parts that are not fine enough to pass through the sieve) 3) In a large bowl, whisk the ground cashew nuts, tapioca flour, salt and baking powder together until combined 4) In another bowl, mix the honey, vanilla extract and egg together until all ingredients are well incorporated 5) Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix well until you get a homogeneous batter 6) Gently stir in 1 cup of fresh blueberries until evenly distributed 7) Pour the batter into the baking
pan or cast
iron pan, and evenly distribute the rest of the blueberries on top 8) Bake for around 30 minutes (or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes
out clean) 9) Let the scones cool for at least 10 minutes before slicing into 8 portions.
I didn't have a cast
iron pan like you show, and although it was an extremely tasty meal, I can't say it turned
out just like the picture!
Serve
out a portion of the udon in a warmed shallow bowl or small cast
iron pan, place clams and prawns on top, ladle hot broth over the top, sprinkle with coriander and finish with a couple of lime wedges.

A few tips: Letting the cast -
iron pan preheat in a blazing hot oven will help ensure a crispy bottom crust, just be careful getting it in and
out of the oven.
To get the most
out of your cast
iron - meat searing experience, preheat the
pan over the flame so it has time to absorb the heat.
I ended up transferring the filling from the cast
iron pan to a ceramic casserole dish because I mistakenly cut the puff pastry to fit a smaller cast
iron - worked
out just fine.

If you've ever been fortunate enough to dig your fork into a cast
iron skillet and eat right
out of the
pan, you're well aware of the wonders it does for food — and the entire eating experience.
However, for those of us that love the taste of Brussels sprouts cooked in butter on the cast
iron pan with some sea salt and pepper, we are not
out of luck.
So I was making these waffles today, prepared my mixture, turned on waffle
iron then it started to smoke... I freaked
out as I thought it's not right, plugged it
out and not going to use it again... With all of that mixture I decided to just
