She decided to count said
ironstone plates and learned she has 146.

The underplates are my every day white
plates from Pottery Barn and the blue and white
plates are French antique
ironstone that I love and use as often as possible.
I love
ironstone and whiteware... I picked up some nice
plates at my thrift store today for $.50 a piece... The thrift stores around here rarely have any
ironstone or other goodies for really cheap.
I just bought these
plates at Target, but I'm hoping to find some old
ironstone I can replace them with eventually.
In this image the patterns are not created by prehistoric societies but by opencast
ironstone quarrying east of Corby — the lines snaking across the
plate are the overburden removed to gain access to the
ironstone beds.

The glass front cabinets are filled with
ironstone, hotel silver, green yelloware, hotel and vintage bamboo flatware, drinking glasses and crystal, and white everyday
plates.
I topped the white stand with white
ironstone Johnson Brothers bread and butter
plates that I found in TTT Week 20.
