Hi Tina, I've never tried it but I imagine it
's fab as the
Kitchen Aid range make very good products.

Kitchen Aid mixer for yeast dough — and I
'm still learning how to work with Yeast recipes.
I used the
Kitchen Aid to knead for 10 minutes, and made 10 instead of 8 (they
were still big)... They
are amazingly light and airy, beautiful, and perfect.
My hand mixer broke during the holidays and I have
been wanting to upgrade to a
Kitchen Aid for years!!!
I did all the kneading in my
Kitchen -
aid and it
was much easier than messing with sticky dough on the counter.

is very loud witch I don't mind but you would think
kitchen aid would fix that but overall amazing machine
I'd like to make the dough with my
Kitchen Aid and with fresh yeast since that
's what I have on hand.
I used my
Kitchen aid to knead (it
was SO sticky I don't think I could have done it by hand).
Used my
Kitchen Aid mixer (approx 5 min; until dough
was pulling away from the sides) for the kneading — glad I did since the dough
was * really * sticky.
I could probably stand to figure out a better setting to use on my

was incredibly good.

I finally had a day off to call

am - 5 pm PT - inconvenient hours when you leave for work @ 6
am and get home @ 6 pm).
The dough
was silky and came together very quickly using my
Kitchen Aid.
My hand mixer worked fine, but it
is nice just pouring into the
kitchen aid and letting it do the work.

As long as you have a food processor (and I highly recommend investing in one — I love my
kitchen aid 7 cup) this
is a breeze.

I agree the little bump at the bottom of my ice blue
kitchen aid is a pain as well, I have heard that the glass bowl does not have this issue.

are great, but there just can't compete with elbow grease when it comes to kneading dough.

Kitchen Aid mixer started to really struggle (and this
is their high end model with plenty of power) and I think I smelled burning gears.
The recipe I
was following recommended using a hand a whisk for about 2 minutes, I of course cheated and used my
kitchen aid mixer on a medium speed for about a minute.
