While most major credit card
issuers will ask for a Social Security
number (SSN) when you apply for a card, there are alternative forms of
identification that might be accepted.
In the case of resident aliens, foreign nationals, and other immigrants who don't qualify for an SSN, some
issuers will accept an Individual Taxpayer
Identification Number (ITIN) in its place.
Securities regulators in Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Northwest Territories, Nova Scotia, Nunavut, Ontario, Quebec, and Saskatchewan did adopt the rules requiring companies to disclose, on an annual basis, information on policies relating to the
identification and nomination of women directors, targets for women on boards and in executive officer positions as well as the
number and percentage of women on the
issuer's board of directors and in executive officer positions.
