I'm sure the visual merchandising aspect has a big part in why they won't allow you to buy
the items on their mannequins, but then again, they lose out on a sale.
Not exact matches
The first, most basic option is to lay the
item on a flat surface, the second is to hang it up, the third is to put it
on a
mannequin and the fourth option is to put it
on a live model.
Or, I'll see a look
on a
mannequin or
on the runway that inspires me to grab a few
items from my closet and pair them together in an unexpected way.
Do you find yourself holding onto
items in your closet that don't fit you as you'd like but you're not 100 % willing to give up
on them so you just keep hanging
on, hoping that one day you will magically pull them out of the dark back corner of your closet, slip them
on and they will look as good or better than the day you saw them in the store window
