They seem to boil down to incompatibility issues with AMD and Nvidia graphics drivers and cards, and manifest in crashes when players try to
join game servers.

game as I never had a problem jumping into a
game already in progress or setting up my own
server and getting other players to

game will take place over three realms: Camelot, the Vikings, and the Tuatha de Danann realms, with each

join being one of these realms.
One of the better new features to come packed into Battlefield 3 is a
server browser, allowing you to quickly scroll through lists of available
games, searching for specific
game types and
join any od the
servers you want.
These
servers, while a much - appreciated resource, were difficult to
join and frequently made playing the
game a complicated technical headache for your average player wanting to
join an active Warcraft community.
Despite having
server problems with the previous two Bad Company
games, both problems were blamed on the fact that there were more players online than EA had anticipated, EA don't seem to have learned their lesson with Battlefield 3 player suffering horrible lag, problems
joining games, and problems
joining games with friends.
Simply search for a
game server with the Pitched Battle mode listed and
join.
There will be improved squad functionality in the retail
game (including but not limited to): the ability to create squads prior to launching into a
game, sticking with your squad when
joining a
game and continuing together through future
games (If team balance on the
server allows it), inviting friends to a squad and changing squads once in
game.
Logged in, loaded up and choose a random European
server,
joined and for a few seconds i just looked around gauging the level of the gfx then bang, the
game quit, tried several different
servers same thing happened every time.
When i go in to the
servers they are all red and it say: Host's
game version differs from yours, you will not be able to
join this
game.
After a beautiful CG trailer (below), Ubisoft announced that fans can «help them make the
game» by
joining a test
server of sorts at www.bgegame.com.

That said, to even get to many of the later issues, you first need to get past the early ones; ones that will see you struggle to
join the online
server in place, and forced to sit through exceptionally long waiting times in order to find a
game.
When you
join the
servers you are split into one of two teams and the
game only ends when all of one team are dead.
You can browse a
server list for
games, many of which you can't
join due to network errors.
As a result of using a peer - to - peer system rather than dedicated
servers, being summoned or summoning allies for co-op play is entirely based on luck and times when you decide to play, and you can just forget about trying to have friends
join your
games to help, as players are sorted to random player clusters with no way to choose who you can summon.
Basically, one console would act as the
server, with that person playing the
game master, and everyone who
joins that particular
game are the role players.
The
game ran steadily and aside from one instance where I had trouble
joining a
game, the
servers always seemed to allow for players to smoothly jump into each other's
games.
Alright, its still very early days, there could well be
server improvements and patches soon, but trying to
join a
game with my friends became a chore.

Seems as though we are going to be way behind JP, yet again and global
servers are out of the question yet again since I very seriously doubt that
joining a global
server with those who have been playing for almost a year now is going to be at all desirable, at this point I find myself hoping that
servers aren't global as I plan on starting this
game from day one of release and wouldn't care to start with a year or more's disadvantage.
You can either host a
server with your version or you can
join servers with the in -
game browser.
HQ frequently has to postpone
games because its
servers are overloaded by all the players
joining.
This means neither you nor other players who
join your LAN
game or
server are required to install any mods or make any changes to their
game.
You can simply unzip the
game client and start throwing punches offline, but if you want to play with others over the internet, you'll want to
join this Discord channel to find out about when
servers are up and running.
You can now download the
game here (601 MB), and there's also a basic open - source
server that you can set up or
join for online matchmaking.
There are tons of Minecraft worlds on the Internet that you can download, unzip, and then play on your local computer without having to
join a
server or set one up, but to do that, you'll need to know how to get to your saved
games, and Minecraft doesn't put those worlds into a place you'd expect, like your Documents folder.
