They do both contain substantial amounts of wax, but jojoba oil doesn't provide everything your face needs.

It might work better for you if you
do 1/3 liquid
oil (like olive
oil or
jojoba) or even 1/2 if needed — this should help it stay light and fluffy even in cooler temps.
I recommend
Jojoba oil — its the
oil closest to our natural skin sebum so its very easily absorbed and doesn't usually react.
Cloth diaper babies hardly have diaper rash, but if yours
does, either try some coconut or
jojoba oil (maybe with a drop of tea tree or lavender essential oils in there.)
This is the best way to make
jojoba oil as it
does not apply any heat to the
oil.

It's generally not a good idea to use
oil on sunburns as it can trap heat inside, but
jojoba is technically a wax so it doesn't cause the same concern.

I want to start using lavander,

However, topical treatments can still be extremely useful and if you
do use them, then the best products are almost always natural ones like raw honey and
jojoba oil, rather than harsh chemicals such as Benzoyl Peroxide.
Be sure to suggest an
oil that doesn't clog pores — like argan,

I usually add a pretty thick layer of
jojoba oil to my skin to hydrate it, but even that doesn't get rid of all the dry flaking.
For some interesting information on oils to use for cleansing and softening, here's a blogger who
did some testing, and believes that castor, rosehip seed, & grape seed oils are great to use on your skin;
jojoba, argon, and coconut oils are ok to use on your skin; and she doesn't believe that shea butter, avocado, olive, and sweet almond
oil are good for your skin — interesting reading if nothing else.
