There's something so special about biting

This would actually be rather good with canned or frozen

I used firmer
peaches for two reasons: we love to eat fresh ripe,
juicy peaches so I don't really have a chance to bake with them AND firmer
peaches won't totally break down
into mush.
I didn't go
into Manhattan often until I attended the High School of Music and Art, years later, though I remember visiting the Metropolitan Museum of Art with my father and seeing a Jean - Simon Chardin painting of a
peach, which impressed me because it looked so
juicy, so perfect.
