about that mac - n - cheese and can only conclude that if the cheese is low - fat and the portion size small (it is
just a side, after all), maybe the
calorie count could be accurate?

And equally important, when we create a sense of stress around numbers — the scale, our food amount, our
calorie counting — we literally go into stress chemistry, meaning sympathetic nervous system dominance — which translates into increased cortisol and insulin levels, which in turn will tend to signal the body to store weight, store fat, and not build muscle —
just the opposite effect of what we are looking for by obsessing
about numbers.
Whether you
just want to eat a little healthier, make
counting calories just a little easier, or learn a little more
about the foods in your diet.
Don't
just listen to the
calorie -
count idiots going on
about the nine
calories a gram — they act like we only burn fat for fuel and use it for nothing else.
