You see, in addition to the standard - issue torch that has featured in
just about every horror game since the year dot, Juliette can also use a stereo microphone which if you've ever seen The Conjuring is probably the most terrifying item you could probably ever have when you're falling about in the gloom.

Now, I don't really have a clue
about what Resident Evil is all
about — it's a true nightmare, not meaning the story and the setting, but
just how you have to play it... it is not a good survival
horror (it is not a survival
horror at all), it is not a good action
game, it is not a good shooter.
Just don't expect a true
horror game; Dead Island, especially when playing in online co-op, is more
about the fun and thrills than it is
about the jump - scares.
There's nothing all that scary
about Weeping Doll; any sort of creepy imagery
just tends to fall flat and the
game's voice acting can, at times, make the
game feel more comedy than
horror.
The Metro series in my opinion are among some of the most underappreciated
games in recent times, as they have
just about everything that I want from a
horror game, suspense, sinister creatures, cruel humanity, the feeling of dread and a gripping story, I could go on further.
That being said I enjoy
just about every type of
game, but more than anything I love playing
horror / unique
games.
Focussing less on the war at large in favour of a more personal, character - driver tale, the much touted campaign of WW2 is
just as much
about brotherhood, family, and the
horrors of war as it is
about shooting Nazi's in the face, or at least that's what the
game would like you to believe.
Despite calling itself the
gamer's console, PlayStation's exclusive launch titles are weak compared to the One which touches
just about every genre including fighting, racing, survival
horror and action.

horror game (s) that surprised you the most, either by exceeding your expectations or failing spectacularly to live up to them.
Survival
horror games are best when they give the player a good level of immersion in the
game world, and being able to play Resident Evil in virtual reality is
just about as immersive as it gets.
