This is about more than
just avocado toast once a week.
Plentiful breakfast options are fairly scarce downtown, so Chicago Raw was my go - to spot for filling options that weren't
just avocado toast or smoothies.

Sometimes we all
just want something amazingly quick and easy for dinner, at this point I often go straight for
avocado and hummus on
toast, which is amazing, but sometimes it's nice to spend an extra few minutes in the kitchen and whip up something amazing like this beautiful veggie stir fry with a creamy tahini and tamari sauce and a mountain of delicious buckwheat noodles.
Hummus and
avocado toast can be so great but they're not very portable so I'm really excited by this new nut recipe, as I can
just put a little pot of them in my bag and munch on them as I run around throughout the day.
I find that after a long day a big bowl of piping hot soup with a side of mashed
avocado toast instantly brings me back to life again, it
just feels so soothing and nourishing.
This is a real contender for my favourite sandwich ever... The mix of crispy tofu, infused with salty tamari and tangy apple cider vinegar, with creamy hummus, slices of soft
avocado, handfuls of fresh rocket and slices of sautéed mushrooms, all snuggled between two pieces of crunchy
toast is
just a dream!
However, if you have diabetes / pre-diabetes and you are including bananas as part of a whole meal then I would
just balance them with some healthy fat (
avocados, nuts, etc.) You could have a banana on top of a piece of sprouted whole grain
toast with some almond butter and that would be a good option.
My family
just had this soup for dinner with the
avocado and cucumber
toast from your cookbook, and it was a really lovely pairing.
I am very much a minimalist when it comes to
avocado toast.Not that I have anything wrong with other versions - they
just weren't really my thing.

I love
avocado toast as much as the next person, but a lot of times that
toast is
just a delivery method for what I really want which is the
avocado and whatever else is seasoning or accompanying it.
Recently my dude and I have been consciously making an effort to cook «more exciting» breakfasts / brunches on the weekends, other than scrambled eggs and

So yeah, this is
just whole grain bread that is

I've been on a huge
avocado toast kick this past week and it's not letting up

Now that it's
just my husband and me, I turn to
avocados — and especially California
avocados — to add creamy goodness — at breakfast on our

I fry or poach an egg I
toast 2 pieces of sourdough bread (use whatever bread you'd like that's
just my fave) instead of butter etc I use coconut oil then I mash up whole or half an
avocado depending on how hungry I am squeeze some 1/4 lime or lemon into avo spread it on top of the
toast and sprinkle salt and pepper as well as some pine nuts (or anything else you'd like to top it with) and when I have tomatoes I like to cut up a few and add them as well.
