When I go through David Kinnaman's research, which reflects
just about every concern I express in my «15 Reasons» posts --(young people are leaving the church because they believe it is too exclusive, too combative with science, hyper - political, out - of - touch when it comes to sexuality, and an unsafe place in which to wrestle with doubt)-- I am often met with
blank stares.
So, I'm sitting at my desk
staring at my grocery list that... well... I
just started creating and to be honest, it was still

blank sheet of paper rather than a list.

just received The Smitten Kitchen Cookbook for Chanukah (stayed up LATE last night drooling — er, reading — it) and after informing my fussy - eater husband (the giver of this gift) that most future meals would be derived from said book, was met with a

Still continuing to argue with herself and getting slapped by

just one of many totally unintentionally hilarious scenes throughout this picture), Wanda succeeds in seducing both Jared and Ian while utilizing one emotion: A completely
blank stare with mouth usually agape.
Blank stares and expectant pauses punctuate much of the dialogue to demonstrate
just how off Amanda and Lily are, and while we certainly aren't meant to view their pursuits as noble, we are encouraged to empathize with them with a capacity that the characters themselves lack.
It's like when you and your drunk friends start showing the world a video of some insane shenanigans you got into in an alcohol - induced party frenzy, and then they
just give you a
blank stare signaling that whatever you're showing them isn't very humorous.
After
staring at it for about two hours, and the page remaining
blank, I accept that I
just can't plot, and off I go.
That's doesn't mean it's easy to write a book, it
just means it's much better than
staring at a
blank page.
You'd be forgiven for throwing back a
blank stare at the news that indie developer Daniel Remar is due to release his next game in
just a couple of week's time.
He
just gave me a
blank stare of confusion in return.
Otherwise, you'd
just be
staring at a
blank page right now, instead of reading about the weirdest things people have ever insured.
It's time to make a resume and you're
