Proof that even fashion
bloggers repeat
outfits all the time, and you probably
just don't even realize it.
And now, please meet Sherry of Petite Over 40, our guest
blogger for this month, and someone I absolutely adore for her mastery in not
just putting together the most whimsy of
outfits but the deft ability to massage and cajole the written word into lyrical prose.
Normally I really don't like conversations about the weather, but as a fashion
blogger it is
just a very important topic... Last month there have been more rainy than sunny days, and that makes shooting
outfits harder and more complicated.
Major
blogger fail on my part, since I'm the one who always adjusts the camera settings before shooting, but I loved this
outfit too much to
just skip it!
But then, like you, I've already figured out what works for me (in part, from other
bloggers who have a more similar shape and have addressed that in the past), so I can
just take ideas from your
outfits and apply them to what I already have.
There are
just so many wonderful
bloggers with so many great
outfit ideas, yourself included.
I am not sure yet if that classifies me as a «fashion
blogger» or
just someone that enjoys sharing my
outfits.

outfit and I think I want EVERY.
I rarely post my
outfit diary or OOTD on blog nor Instagram, then wondering «Should I
just take that «fashion
blogger» label down from my IG bio?»
So this past
outfit shoot I decided to listen to the advice of my friends and fellow
bloggers and try some photos without sunglasses...
just me and the eyes to my sole haha... not really but you get my point.
They also
just came out with a liketoknow.it App where you can follow your favorite

outfit posts I continue to be inspired with how Becky of @bybmg.blogspot.com links up
just one post on Wednesdays documenting her personal style for each day as a teacher / mom / expecting mom.
I remember looking up to a few of my favorite
bloggers (
just to name a few: Katey McFarlan from «Chronicles Of Frivolity ``, Emily Gemma from «The Sweetest Thing Blog», Brighton Keller from «Brighton The Day «and Haley from «Sequins And Things «-RRB- and thinking how neat it is that they share their fashion finds and
outfits.
And I am grateful for the «Deep Style»
bloggers out there, who inspire me, not
just with mere
outfits but with their heart, warmth and depth - the ah - mazing Judith of
This week we are talking
outfit planning... a topic that I think is relevant to a lot more than
just fashion
bloggers.
Do what
blogger Erica did, and
just wear the sweater over your skirt for an effortlessly chic

Though some
bloggers may already be sharing a few fall
outfits with you, I
just can't take the heat to do so.
In full disclosure, this is not something I think about a lot but with Valentine's Day
just around the corner and THIS recent post by one of my favorite
bloggers on my screen, I couldn't help but start dreaming up the perfect date night scenario and my dream date

I tried to be a beauty
blogger for awhile and I tried to care about putting together
outfits as a fashion
blogger, and it
just didn't work.
As a fashion
blogger surfing and scoring the internet each week in search of the latest trend, inspiration or
just the next fabulous fashion find, I constantly come across things that I love, whether it's from pinning on Pinterest, admiring another
blogger's style in an
outfit post or
just random, sometimes you
just want to talk about with one of your girlfriends.
You see an
outfit that you absolutely adore on a
blogger and even if you buy the exact same pieces it
just didn't look right for you.

When I look at fashion
bloggers» pictures, I judge the entirety of the photo, not
just the
outfits!

Natassia is one of my favorite
bloggers / style mavens to follow not
just because of her gorgeous
outfits, but because her posts are always so much fun to read (and she's a fellow Marvel fan, haha)!
I'm a nosy person (whoops) but I much prefer to «connect» with
bloggers and know more about them than
just see
outfit photos.
Now I find myself following
bloggers who bring more to the table than
just great
outfits with steep price tags.
One, the hobby
bloggers who are
just simply infatuated with fashion and having fun by showing off their
outfits.
I have spent the past few weeks scouring Instagram, fellow travel
bloggers, the fashion scenes in both countries and
just googling landmarks to draw inspiration for
outfits.
