It's not perfect, but since you can buy ground almonds here,
I just chopped the dates into little pieces and made a dough from everything with my hands.
Not exact matches
I know we've talked about blenders versus processors before but
just to recap — the difference between a processor and a blender is that a processor has a bigger, longer blade so it can
chop things like nuts and
dates.
Hi Ella, do you
chop the
dates before you put them in the saucepan, or
just pop them in whole (and pitted of course!)?
The
date caramel was great but I
just made another recipe with a similar process but instead you poured boiling water over roughly
chopped dates, left them to sit for 10 mins and then blended, this created a much smoother paste.
The second time I soaked the
dates in boiling water to soften them and then I
just used a blender stick to blend the
dates with sweet potato and maple syrup (much easier than a processor) I also made a budget version and used regular cocoa powder, 1/2 honey 1/2 maple syrup, no pinenuts -
just 1/2 cup of coconut flour and 1/2 cornflour, I also added
chopped walnuts.
If you want to make these muffins but don't have access to Bench Pressed Oats though, you can always
just use regular rolled oats + some vanilla whey + / - some
chopped dates or your sweetener of choice.
I
just made these again, this time with
dates,
chopped pecans, the zest of one orange and a bit of cinnamon and cardamom.
If you want to replace the goji berries try a few
chopped, pitted
dates or dried apricots... or
just leave them out completely.
If you like more texture in your carrot cake, feel free to add them
just chopped and only blend the
dates and water.
Next is the wet ingredients —
just some flax eggs,
date paste, finely
chopped carrots, and almond milk.

dates, prunes and cranberries and turned out great.

A few suggestions... I usually soak my
dates, having pitted and
chopped them first, but you can also soak them first, then remove the pits and cut them in halves or quarters after this (or
just pull the pits out with your fingers).
I used to put a few
chopped dates in my mine, the texture it gave was
just YUM.
It is
just 2 cups of cooked quinoa (slightly cooled), mixed with 3 egg yolks and 1 cup of
chopped pecans (or other nut as you prefer, or even
dates for a bit is sweetness) and then stir in 200g of melted dark chocolate (I like 70 %, but you can use any %, the darker the less sweet the cake is).
To half the batch, I added toasted walnuts and some
chopped dates just to experiment.

chop signature of a traditional Korean ink drawing, but it may
just as easily be considered as a formal addition to the painting much in the way that Robert Ryman has continued in his work of 1996 to incorporate the
date into his own seemingly minimalist, abstract paintings.
