This variability has previously allowed only gross
differences to be distinguished —
between, say, an Arab horse,
bred to run over distances, and an American quarter horse, which is
bred to sprint for
just a quarter of a mile.
I don't know if it is ok to comment on an older post like this, but I
just wanted to note that there is likely a
difference between wild and cultivated raspberries that have been selectively
bred to produce sweeter berries.
