just spice things up or lighten otherwise
dry subject matter.

Just pour buttermilk, sour cream and white vinegar in a bowl with some
dried herbs and
spices, and give it a good whisk.
This recipe is the best in my opinion, it's come out of lots of trial and error over many years, to get the balance of textures and
spices just right and also experimenting with canned vs
dried chickpeas.
In the same bowl, flour, pumpkin pie
spice, baking soda, salt, and stir until
just combine (if it feels too
dry, add 1 tbs water).

dried herbs in many others.
Usually they say 2 to 3 times the amount of fresh
spice to
dry, but you can
just add it in to taste; the flavors will likely get stronger as the milk and oats sit, so err on the side of less flavor.
