So if I'm sitting across from a patient who has a long list of health symptoms that seems like they're not connected and has digestive symptoms — and 40 - 60 % of the population,
in general has some kind of digestive symptom, whether it be bloating after eating, feeling fatigued after eating,
just feeling like your
food is sitting
in your stomach and not really moving through, GERD, so acid reflux, heartburn, diarrhea and constipation, or those IBS symptoms, gas and bloating — when I sit across from a patient with any of those symptoms, the first place we go,
in terms of treatment, is to look at the gut.
In case you're wondering, digestive enzymes help break down
food more efficiently if you have a system that's trying to heal (gut issues) or you
just have
general digestion issues.
Inflammation is good
in small doses to alert us to a problem within the body, such as an injury; but many of us have long term chronic inflammation, due to a bad diet
in general, pollution, sugar, trans fats, chemicals
in food, smoking, alcohol, and generally
just not obtaining enough antioxidants from their diet from fruits and vegetables.
So I started last week, and was completely set up for success - I did my research, stocked up on the proper

just 7 days after eating Paleo style - I found it is NOT for me... Let me back up for
just one second though, because

food, but
just pet
food in general, what types of
food are available and what things might your dog need
in his diet.
Keep
in mind,
food allergies can happen
in any breed, and, of course, some breeds may be searched more frequently
just because they're more popular
in general.
It's not
just experience, there are no scientific studies indicating that,
in general, «holistic» pet
food allows animals to live longer than any mainstream brand.
