Your dog may have trouble distinguishing your floor from his newspapers or potty pads, so don't expect your dog to
just get to his potty area and know that he's supposed to relieve himself there.

We
just got back from a weeks vacation where she was having almost daily accidents, and I'm suspicious that it was because she can't let her body fully relax sitting on a big toilet where she has
to hold herself up.She's still wearing diapers for bed & nap - time, and if you ask her does she need
to use the
potty, she'll tell you «It's ok, I wearing diaper».
Right now she's 34 months old and
just starting
to get back
to the place where she runs
to the
potty, takes her Pull - up down, and goes all by herself.
Whenever she refuses
to use the
potty we
just put her in a diaper (actually, mostly we start putting on the diaper and she decides
to sit on the
potty), and a couple times I've
gotten irritated by a series of accidents and put her in a diaper, but that has never lasted more than a day or so.
I'm so happy
to have the side snaps as we
just can't seem
to get the poop in the
potty part yet.

potty training problems - they have been
potty training their toddler for days, weeks or months and they
just want
to get do the end of this journey.

getting super frustrated and who

The reason you want
to do this is so that you child understands what an «accident» is, why it's not what
potty training is about, and that when s / he has an accident, s / he doesn't
just get to start playing again... she or he needs
to help clean - up as well.
We try
to get her
to go on the
potty but she cries and
gets upset so we
just put the diaper on and she goes.

to keep the training momentum going when power of the star sticker charts and M&M's has worn off (okay,
just the star charts» power) and your toddler or preschooler is starting
to get the hang of
potty training but isn't a bathroom etiquette pro yet.
So this is where patience comes in and you'll
just need
to be re-introducing him
to the
potty chair and hopefully he will
get the hint, but boys always seem
to take longer, and especially with pooping.
In fact, when I did try
to get him
to try using the
potty «like his cousin» when he was 3, he stopped, looked at me for a moment, and then asked, «Mom, do you really want me
to do things
just because someone else does them?»
The only time she 1/2 made it was she saying «go
potty» and
just as she
got in front of it she started
to wet and I
just put her down on the
potty.
They say they are
just trying
to get the kids used
to the idea of the
potty, learn what their body does, learn what the toilet does, etc..
We finally
just got the 3 year old
potty trained during the day time, and now I am trying
to figure out how
to get him
to stay dry while asleep so that he will be completely pull up free.
This
just getting them used
to the idea of the
potty without any pressure has seemed
to have been good for my girl and hasn't confused her.
And
just before you head out the door, try
to get your child
to sit on the
potty or toilet.
Or I could
just tell him that I changed my mind and he can
get the big boy bed now and go
to the
potty whenever he feels ready
to do it again... anytime before 2017.
I'm actually in the middle of
potty training my youngest and
getting my oldest ready for his HS graduation I know CRAZY moments happening in here (w / 2 more in between too) for me what has been working for our Isy is being her ULT cheer squad she LOOOVESS it even when she jumps up from her crib at 5:30 in the AM and is screaming MAMA Peeeeee PEEEEEEE PEEEEE (she has a pull up on but she's doing SO awesome at it) I
get her

potty and cheer her half asleep and we sing the song we made up
just for her lol... I also learned with all my kids do NOT push them.
i'm still working on it my 22 months old daughter destiny, she would

to the realization that there is so much more
to potty training than
just the
getting them out of the diapers.

to do with bunching, is
to skip the whole «
potty seat» thing and try
to get the kid
to just use the toilet as it is.

to keep chipping away at it.
So as parents we
get to figure out
just what little tricks we need

to prompt our little guy or gal
to poop in the
potty.
My son
just turned 3, I have tried everything
to get him
to go, occasionally he will go pee - pee, but refuses
to go poop, I feel like a failure, especially when you hear other moms saying how well their child goes
to the
potty.
My boy is 23 months now, since he was born we decided
to let him see us going
to the bathroom, we
got him a small
potty that looks like ours an
just put it near toilet, he only liked
to sit on it with his feet inside it until this Christmas we gave him a few
potty books between his presents, after we read them only once
to him next time he felt the need
to go immediately told us «popo - pipi» and have been doing it since then.
I still use cloth diapers as a back up and at night, though during the day when it's
just him and i at home he's bare - bummed a lot:) He's 7 1/2 months old now and knows
to use the
potty - he wakes up dry from naps but will pee as soon as I
get him on the
potty - I keep one in the car as well and he'll even use it on the go!
My older one
got seriously interested in
potty training (toilet training, toilet / learning / whatever you want
to call it) at around 16 months and we kind of
just did it gradually and I never felt «stuck» in the process long enough
to need more than my grandmother's advice.
I think, «great time
to encourage her
potty - training ready signs and
just get out the pull ups.»
Yah that's crazy My son's 19 months and I'm
just putting him on the
potty when I go and he has already gone 2 times today and we
just started lots of love and making him feel good about what he's doing I think will work wonder's and this is my 3rd son I'm
potty trianing:) and when it comes time
to pee in the big toilet
just put cheerio's in the toilet and tell him
to get them with his pee they love it:)
This idea really did work well with my son, although I didn't know about this plan, I actually
just came across it on my own with my son I noticed when I
got him out of the bath a few times he would go
to the
potty before I had
gotten him dressed but when he had a diaper or underwear on he would have accidents.
