I know that weird to say regarding a NES title, but
it just lacks some of the polish you would expect from a Nintendo game.
Not exact matches
The same rule applies in reverse:
Just because someone
lacks many
of the qualities
of a traditionally
polished interviewee does not mean he or she can't be a top performer.
It has all the ideals and elements to create a balanced and enjoyable multiplayer experience, but
just lacks that final coat
of polish that puts the shine on the packaging.
The game is solid and has a great amount
of polish; it
just lacks anything innovative enough to keep players enticed for too long.
The aesthetics are noteworthy however the gameplay needs some more
polish and the
lack of a create a character is a bit weird but then again it's
just alpha.
It's been in development since Sun and Moon, but that isn't much
of comfort because Game Freak has
just had a really rough time overall transitioning to 3D, and now they want to do the HD jump in 2 years when taking 3 years to do the 3D jump resulted in X&Y, and that quickly became the most divisive with fans to say the least due to what's been cited as an anemic amount
of content, overall
lack of polish, poor performance, and mediocre story / characters.
Overall, SC5 is
just as
polished of a game as other installments in the series, but it is
lacking quite a bit in its single player options.
Overall, the game
just lacked a level
of polish and care that higher profiles games receive before they ship.
However, a
lacking of innovation and overall gameplay and graphical
polish stunt the game's full potential and leave it as a
just - above - average title only fans
of the material and / or genre will find any value in.
The basic gameplay in the latest Spiderman is really enjoyable and had me excited to start the next mission but the
lack of a more fleshed out story and a few
polish issues combined with the repetitious mission structure have this game
just falling short from becoming the next Arkham Asylum.
But there is still so much
lack of polish so many times where things get very clunky that this still is
just a bad looking game.
Because this game
just lacks any sort
of finetuning, any
polish.
Granted,
just like Lords
of the Fallen, it's a lower budget game, and it is rough around the edges,
lacking the
polishing level
of AAA games it is trying to emulate.
But while the game has a lot
of interesting systems and some absolutely gorgeous graphics, the extreme
lack of balance, lag and rubberbanding issues, and
just downright uncooperative AI mean that this game will have a lot
of polish to deliver before its final release.
It
just lacked some
polish and didn't have a world that I felt particularly invested in — from a gameplay perspective though, there's certainly be plenty
of fun to be had throughout.
There are certain things
lacking from the experience, however: as mentioned, some
of the core apps such as the dialler and music player
lack polish or features, and are
just plain ugly.
